NACEA (North America Chinese Entrepreneur Association) and NJCACC will host a seminar jointly on marketing on Saturday September 8th, 2007. It’s one of the Entrepreneur Series we have in our plan. Two experts with abundant hands-on marketing experience from the NYC business world will come and give us a lecture as well as a discussion on various marketing practices maturalized or rising in the US.

Please mark your callendar and register online at www.nacea.org to secure your space. We’ll send out a detailed agenda shortly after.

As we are all aware, marketing and sales capability is something most of us are short. We came to this land because of our technical and academic background. But to pursue entrepreneur dreams, we simply have to cultivate marketing and sales skills, or at least we build good knowledge about them.

John Follis, and Lowell Feuer, two highly experienced and successful entrepreneurs, are definitely the right people to help us in these. They will share their combined 40 years of experience in marketing and their US and international experience, including China. John Follis, founder and CEO of Follis Advertising, will focus on Buzz marketing, Guerrila Marketing and other types of low-budget marketing methods for tech-oriented companies. Lowell Feuer’s talk will concentrate on internet marketing and his experience in doing business with China .

In the panel discussion session, we’ll have one or two more experts from other industries to join us and share their own special experiences. We can be certain that it will be another very informational and eye-opening seminar from which we can learn something new. Also, according to the feedback from our members, we’ll set tables to group people of similar interest/background together, so as to improve each’s networking experience.
