It's a common acknowledgement that among overseas Chinese, there are many "Crouching Tigers and Lying Dragons", meaning we are all highly talented one way or other. One of our common dreams, therefore, is to start our own business so as to achieve our maximum potentials. However, the numerous hurdles on the road have often discouraged many people from even going forward with the opportunities they encounter. Even for determined people who are confident and persistent in their entrepreneurial pursuit, challenges such as finding the right partner, playing fair in the team, protecting intellectual property, solving disputes, etc., often pop up and cause many distractions on their way to a building a successful business.

To help business owners and prospective entrepreneurs handle these problems in a better professional way, NACEA (North American Chinese Entrepreneurs Association) is organizing a series of seminars, workshops and training sessions where successful entrepreneurs, business consultants, attorneys, accountants, investment advisers, etc. will come and share their knowledge and hard-earn experience with us, and guide us through the process of setting up valid business practices.

On April 22nd, 2007, we are having our second public seminar with business lawyers Michael Huey, Zhiyu Hu, and another experienced lawyer (to be determined), who will discuss with us the various legal issues regarding business set-up. In addition, we have invited Mr. Junfei Sheng, Chairman and CEO of China Star Group, who will review with us the current economic situation in China as well as share his personal entrepreneur experiences both in China and in the US. Mr. Sheng formally worked in China's Homeland Resource Administrative Bureau. He will also introduce some large projects brought from China. His presentation will for sure give us a in-depth picture and a better understanding of the long term business opportunities in China.

At the end of the meeting, we will have a raffle among those who need legal consulting. Winners will be awarded a number of free consultations with the speaking attorneys.
