Summary:

At the beginning the 2014 when USA showed clear sign of recovery, NACEA is kicking off its business networking events on March 8. While enjoying delicious Chinese food, we will invite some entrepreneurs in several tech fields to share their experience and view points on the entrepreneur opportunities for American Chinese, both in the US and China. Some of them are looking for new partners. Therefore, at same time, we can look for and discuss the teaming up opportunities among us, which will be one of the focus in all NACEA networking events in the future.

Brief bios of two Guest Entrepreneurs:

Sam Jiang, Ph.D. in Chemistry. from Louisiana State University. Established Accel Pharmtech in 2009, focuses on manufacturing and marketing rare organic chemical materials. In 2010, went back China and set up Chinese brunch of the business in Beijing. Received Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award from NACEA and Beijing local government support in 2011. Always attend NACEA activities and met one of its largest client in NACEA meeting. Would like to be interactive with audience. Will share some information on relations with partners, dealing with local government, etc. according personal experience.

Chuyu Xiong, Ph.D. in Math. from Ohio State. Worked in New York as computer specialist for long. Introduced by NACEA to attend ChunHui Competition in 2008. Since then, get used to business environments in China. Went back to Chengdu on 2011 to build one business. Check: www.cyberkey.cn. Got good government support and business is going steadly. Would like to share some thoughts and information, such as where to locate your business, how to get government support, what can one really expect, etc, with audience. Would like to be interactive with audience. Finally, would like to talk to people who is interested in Machine Learning, hot topic these days. Experiences in China actually strongly stimulated me to do researches in this new and hot area, and I made some progress. Plan to expand in this direction.
