NACEA is proud to announce a Round-Table Workshop on Project/Business ideas and business/social networking on the afternoon of April 24th Saturday, 2010, in South Plainfield, NJ.
Successful entrepreneurs from both the U.S and China will discuss their experiences and strategies. Topics will include:
- the evolution of projects and business ideas
- how to find partners for the project
- how to market your project or idea
- how to search for investment and funding for the project
- how to maintain good relationships with US/Chinese partners
After their presentations, you will have the chance to exchange and discuss your own projects and ideas with other people in a small group, and also have opportunities to network with others in the same field.

Mr. Wing Lau, Founder and COO of 3D Biotek
Mr. Wing Lau has over 18 years of industrial experience in CAD/CAM/CAE, software development for engineering and clinical trial applications, and product development. In particular, he was the group leader in the Department of Technology Development of Therics Inc., a tissue engineering product manufacturer, leading the effort in research and development of the core technology for the design, modeling, analysis, virtual prototyping, processing and manufacturing of the products by freeform fabrication. The same core technology will be required by 3D Biotek.
Mr. Savio Chan, president of USPAACC
Mr Chan is President of the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce and has extensive experience working with Fortune 500 companies, bringing outsourced projects to minority businesses.

Sanxing Sun, develop resveratrol lozenges into useful drugs for the treatment of diseases
Resveratrol lozenges are currently available as dietary supplements. The goal is to develop resveratrol lozenges into useful drugs for the treatment of diseases such as type II diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, and Alzheimer's disease. A patent application of resveratrol lozenges has already been filed.

OWL is a start up company to manufacture wood pellets, a renewable heating fuel. The use of wood for energy is regarded as carbon neutral. Supplementing fossil fuels with wood can take several pathways. Pelletization is a process that densifies, reduces moisture content, and standardizes product specifications for ease of use. It is a proven and commercially viable technology. Wood pellets as heating fuel has an energy content per unit volume near that of coal, is by far the cleanest of all solid fuel, and is more net energy efficient and the least expensive heating energy source today except natural gas.

Notice for Project Presenters:
For those who want to present project/idea in the group meeting, you'll have the chance to present them in front of a small audience who can offer some comments and suggestions based on their own experience.
The setting will be casual, and thus require less formal preparation, but you'll still need to be well prepared for questions.
This is a great opportunity for you to build your social network and find partners, as well as practice your presentation skills.
If you would like to present in this workshop, please submit via email an outline of your project or business idea to the following event managers at your earliest convenient time.
